Yesterday was so windy, I didn't dare go outside. I could of gotten blown away like all of the snowflakes out there. Plus my fur would get all ruffly. But I made up for it today. I caught a big blue bird with a black mouth. Mommy says it's called a "Blue J". It didn't look like a J to me though. I thought Mommy might like it in her room, because it was pretty and blue like the bed in there. But the older Mommy said "Don't let him in until he gets rid of that thing," and Mommy said "Don't worry, I won't." So I had to throw my bird off the ledge under the door before Mommy let me inside.

Right after my last post, our warm spell ended. We had a lot of snow for a little while. It left, then came back, and now it's melted again. I hope it's warm again soon.

To all you kitties suffering in the cold when you go outside this winter, I say "Ha, ha." A rarity this winter in southern Ontario, we've had practically no snow since around Cristmas. Not only that, but February 2 was an incredibly warm day. Like mid-spring warm. It's snowing again today, but not much. But there is snow where Mommy's going skiing on Thursday. She says she going with school (that place where she does her homework). School confuses me, one day they force he to write stuff all night and ignore me and complain about too much homework, the they ship her off to slide down a hill on sticks for a day. Which also doesn't involve me. Hmm...

Speaking of homework, I think Mommy's getting some sort of promotion. She's been excited that later this year she'll be going to high school instead of just school. An executive position maybe? Way too much responsibility for a 13-year-old human. She says she'll have even more homework, which neither of us are looking forward to. But she she'll be going to school with her friends. That probably means her nice friends will be over more to pet me. I just hope that one that picks me up funny doesn't come as much. An arm jabbed into your stomach isn't as comfortable as you'd think.

Not My Fault

I'm reallly, really, really, really sorry for my recent lack of posts. However, you'll be happy to know that it's not my fault. I blame it entirely on Mommy and her stupid vampire romance novels. She's been too invlolved in her Twilight book to turn the computer on for me.

On a higher note, I just got the best belly scratching that any cat has ever had.

Goodbye '05

Mommy told me that today is the very last day of 2005. She said that means that a new year is starting. Apparently it's something to be celebrated. So at midnight, a big ball inside the T.V. is going to drop. I say that this should be a celebration. Especially if the ball is rainbow colored and makes a krinkly sound. Cross your claws kitties!

There seemed to be a lot of confusion over yesterdays tuxie post. All of the tuxies are commenting saying that I shouldn't want to be one just because they have a gang. But actually, it was more of a jealousy thing. Remember, in the post, I mentioned something about my Mommy liking tuxies? I just don't want my tuxie friend or any other tuxie taking my place as Mommy's baby. I was just a little startled by the calendar yesterday. So don't attack me with any more accusations.

Tuxies have all the luck...

If I had one wish, I'd wish I was a tuxedo cat. You guys have it good. Mommy has recently decided that she loves tuxies. She even got a tuxedo cat 2006 calendar. I even have a tuxie friend, and we don't know if he lives anywhere. So Mommy says she REALLY wishes she could keep him. She says that my tuxie friend is so cute. You guys even have your own gang.

Need the Nip

It's almost Christmas! And Santa stopped a few days early to fill up our kitty stockings! But Mommy stuck them way up high so we can't get them! NowI smell three things in mine. My favourite treats, my not-favorite treats, and CATNIP! And my ears tell me of a new toy as well. But Mommy says I can't ave them until Sunday. I don't know what Sunday means, but my patience is running thin. Why do they do this to us?

I had my fun with our Christmas tree. I knocked off a few ornaments to play. But mostly I'm playing with something the older Mommy brought home. A GIANT krinkle ball! You cant imagine the wicked fun I have with that thing!
